Summary

Laplace is a broker platform that offers multiple investment opportunities like stocks, mutual funds, currencies, indexes, or commodities. Laplace broker offers advanced AI-driven time-series analysis for predicting a return in 5 years horizons with particular accuracy, determining the risk of the investment.

The platform will be available in browsers like Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, or Mozilla Firefox, etc. The goal is to create an easy-to-understand and responsive (desktop and mobile devices) user interface, offering a high-quality user experience based on the human-centered design process, respecting common UX and UI design principles.

User Story

As a user, I want to see my portfolio performance, customizable watchlist, trending opportunities, and trades history in one place called Overview.

Usability Metrics

The existing setup for data filtering flow within VaultNext’s Unity platform had become a bottleneck for users managing large datasets. Users reported that the process was:

  • Time to Apply Filter: Avg. 3.2 minutes per filter setup

  • Drop-off Rate: 45% of users abandoned the filter before completing it

  • Customer Support Tickets: 22% of report-related tickets involved filter usability

  • User Satisfaction (CSAT): Scored 3.1/5 on filtering ease

Conclusion

 The new filter design in Unity by VaultNext significantly improved usability, performance, and user satisfaction. This project showcased the value of user-centered design, strong cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven iteration.
